Our Story
Mike and Stacy met at work. Stacy had already been there a year when he started and made him feel welcome and helped him adjust since he was new. They got along well and quickly became friends. They were dating about a year before getting engaged.
It was a trip to California, to spend some time in Monterey, the Central Coast and San Francisco. Stacy met Mike's family for the first time. Mike had a ring hidden for the whole trip. He wanted to propose on top of Twin Peaks in San Francisco and that wasn't until the end of the trip.
Even though it was nice in the city, it was overcast, windy and cold on top of the hill. Stacy didn't want to be outside of the car so Mike proposed in the car. The picture shown was taken halfway back down the hill, where the weather was nicer.
The wedding was at Kloc's Grove just outside of Buffalo. The wedding was held outdoors in an open air pavilion on a warm and humid day. They were surrounded by their family, past and current friends. After the ceremony there was an open bar, a candy "bar," a photo booth, dinner and cake, and a dance floor that was almost always occupied. They could not have asked for a happier time!
